AI / ML Consultant

Crosslake Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced AI / ML Consultant to join our team of experts. We specialize in helping private equity investors and portfolio company leaders drive value creation through technology, ensuring that AI and software investments deliver measurable results in a rapidly evolving market.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical due diligence for investment firms to identify strengths, risks, and opportunities within AI and data science assets.
• Collaborate with technology companies to assess and improve existing AI architectures, development processes, and organizational tools.
• Design and implement innovative AI solutions from scratch while mentoring junior engineers and technical team members.
• Drive AI assessment projects, digging deep into technical data to create comprehensive reports for investors.
• Manage project lifecycles, ensuring successful delivery through effective collaboration and hands-on technical execution.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, and machine learning, including current expertise in Generative AI.
• Expert-level knowledge of the LLM landscape, model selection, fine-tuning, bias management, and MLOps tooling.
• Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaborative partnerships.
• Action-oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring teams and solving complex technical challenges.
