AI Finance Domain Expert

micro1 is seeking an AI Finance Domain Expert to contribute to a project focused on enhancing AI-driven financial applications. In this role, you will apply your professional expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and edit AI-generated financial content for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
• Develop, refine, and evaluate AI prompts related to financial analysis, valuation, and investment decision-making.
• Assess and annotate complex financial data, reports, and model outputs using detailed rubrics.
• Author and review technical documentation, investment memos, and research summaries.
• Conduct independent research and fact-checking to validate information used by AI systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, equity research, or strategic finance.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality investment memos, valuation analyses, or financial models.
• Exceptional written communication and professional editing skills with a focus on technical and business writing.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and attention to detail in data-driven environments.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, JD, or PhD is considered a significant advantage.
