AI Enterprise Senior Technical Lead

WPP Enterprise Solutions is seeking an AI Enterprise Technical Lead to join a high-profile project for a major global brand. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, focusing on the delivery of secure, enterprise-grade AI platforms built on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design, translating complex business workflows into scalable AI architectures.
• Shape the integration of AI agents, orchestration, RAG, and enterprise systems while defining boundaries between LLM capabilities and deterministic logic.
• Design robust workflows for context management, tool usage, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Ensure high standards for security, governance, observability, and auditability across all AI implementations.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, code reviews, and support to engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience in designing and delivering GenAI solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, agentic architectures, RAG, and workflow orchestration.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure AI services.
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery and communicate complex architectural trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Solid background in software architecture, API design, and enterprise integration patterns.
