AI Engineering Enablement Expert

XM is seeking an AI Engineering Enablement Expert to lead the adoption and practical application of artificial intelligence across our software development and quality assurance departments. You will act as a subject-matter specialist, researching emerging technologies and translating them into scalable, responsible development practices that drive innovation and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Research and benchmark AI tools, vendors, and industry practices to assess their relevance and security for the organization.
• Provide expert guidance on integrating AI throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Prototype and evaluate AI capabilities, defining success criteria and scaling successful pilot projects.
• Develop standards and best practices for the responsible use of AI, including security, data protection, and human oversight.
• Monitor AI effectiveness through engineering metrics and support team upskilling through playbooks and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in IT engineering and leadership.
• Deep understanding of the modern AI landscape, including LLMs, AI agents, and prompt engineering.
• Proven experience transforming software development lifecycles through AI tooling and automation.
• Strong background in modern SDLC practices, CI/CD, and DevOps, combined with hands-on AI development experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and represent the company at industry events.
