AI Engineer

Delve Deeper is a performance media agency dedicated to the charity and nonprofit sector, helping mission-driven organizations maximize their impact through advanced digital strategies. We are seeking a dedicated AI Engineer to join our team and focus on building and maintaining a sophisticated multi-agent AI system that automates performance media trading decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, iterate, and maintain AI agents, taking end-to-end ownership of prompt design, tool wiring, and output validation.
• Integrate and normalize data from various media platforms, ensuring strict adherence to data contracts and schema management.
• Implement evaluation-first development by defining success criteria and regression tests before starting any feature work.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data freshness and reliability for automated reporting and agent operations.
• Design and manage human-in-the-loop workflows, including Slack-based approval flows and operational notifications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software, data engineering, or AI platform development with direct ownership of production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in building production-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications, agentic systems, and tool-calling workflows.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments using Docker.
