AI Engineer

Dura Digital is a global digital transformation and consulting company that helps organizations turn emerging technologies into practical business outcomes. We are looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, and ship AI-powered features that go into production and stay there, working across the full path from problem framing to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy production AI features, including LLM-backed workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic systems.
• Own the data path behind features, including ingestion, chunking, embedding, and retrieval quality.
• Design evaluation frameworks to define what success looks like, building offline eval sets and online feedback loops.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications through well-designed APIs, focusing on latency, cost, and reliability.
• Apply responsible-AI practices, including data privacy, PII handling, and clear documentation of model limitations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 1+ year building with LLMs or ML systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of at least one of TypeScript, C#, Java, or Go.
• Demonstrated experience shipping an AI feature end-to-end, including evaluation and iteration.
• Practical command of the modern LLM toolkit, including prompt design, structured output, and context management.
• Experience with retrieval systems and vector search, along with cloud deployment experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
