AI Engineer

ACAISOFT POLAND is looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a high-impact project for a US-based client. You will be responsible for integrating production-grade, governed AI workflows into complex enterprise systems, helping to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and real-world business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agent orchestration architecture, defining how agents are structured, coordinated, and decomposed across domains.
• Build the domain harness layer, establishing input and output contracts, approval enforcement hooks, and error recovery logic.
• Implement tool integration patterns using the MCP protocol, including call routing and fallback behaviors.
• Develop Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) checkpoints and context injection mechanisms for LLM calls.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably as a Backend or Python Engineer.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on commercial experience building AI Agents using frameworks like LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
• Proven experience building applications on top of LLMs, including familiarity with prompt engineering and context management.
• Solid understanding of vector databases, retrieval systems, and evaluation approaches for non-deterministic systems.
• Availability to work until at least 7:00 PM CET to align with the US-based team.
