AI Engineer

STX Next is a global IT consulting company specializing in customer-focused software services. We are currently seeking an autonomous, AI-first AI/ML Automation Engineer to bridge the gap between cutting-edge Generative AI technology, traditional Machine Learning, and real-world business value.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy production-grade AI workflows, agents, and automation pipelines using Python and the LangChain ecosystem.
• Maximize delivery speed by using advanced AI-assisted development tools to build, test, and iterate code at high velocity.
• Connect custom AI solutions with enterprise environments, specifically leveraging and extending the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for non-technical users to ensure smooth adoption of new AI tools and automations.
• Work closely with product or business leaders to translate raw ideas into technical architecture and defend technical choices.

Requirements

• Deep experience writing clean, production-ready Python code.
• Experience building agentic workflows using the LangChain family or similar frameworks like LlamaIndex.
• Fluent in Cursor or equivalent AI-first IDEs to prompt, debug, and write code alongside AI.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or Azure OpenAI integrations.
• Strong spoken and written English (C1/C2) to explain technical architectures and train non-technical users.
