AI Engineer – GenAI & Cloud (f/m/x)

Sii is looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our team and build production-grade AI systems that go beyond simple prototypes. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable AI solutions, working across the generative and classical AI stack to solve real-world business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy end-to-end knowledge-grounded AI systems, including data ingestion, embedding pipelines, and retrieval logic.
• Develop agentic applications using frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain, focusing on tool integration and memory management.
• Deploy and optimize model serving infrastructure, ensuring cost-efficiency and high performance on cloud platforms.
• Write clean, production-grade Python code and implement robust evaluation and monitoring pipelines for AI models.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and data engineers to ensure high-quality data availability and effective technical design.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in software or ML engineering with a proven track record of shipping AI systems to production.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a focus on writing maintainable, tested, and scalable code.
• Practical experience with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and its AI/ML services.
• Experience with vector databases, embedding models, and MLOps fundamentals like CI/CD and model monitoring.
