AI Engineer (Forward-Deployed) 80-100%

Datali is a Swiss AI and data consultancy dedicated to making artificial intelligence accessible to traditional industries such as construction, healthcare, and manufacturing. We are looking for a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to join our team and help solve complex operational and technical challenges through scalable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design robust AI solution and system architecture for diverse client needs.
• Develop and deploy advanced AI applications, including conversational agents and automation systems.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex data and NLP pipelines.
• Act as a trusted advisor by translating business requirements into scalable technical implementations.
• Support technical presales activities, including solution design and delivery planning.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in AI/ML development, taking projects from PoC to production.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building applications in Python.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles.
• Strong familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG.
• Fluent English proficiency (minimum C1 level) with excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
