AI Engineer (Azure)

Shimi Sp. z o.o. is seeking a skilled Mid-level Azure AI Engineer to join an international project focused on building advanced cloud-native data and AI solutions. You will play a key role in designing and implementing robust AI applications, leveraging modern Microsoft Azure services and cutting-edge LLM frameworks to drive innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native data and AI solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Manage and enhance Azure-based environments to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.
• Integrate AI and data solutions with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of cloud workloads using Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud architecture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and AI workloads.
• Practical knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architectures, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform, alongside CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for scripting and automation tasks.
• Strong understanding of Azure security, governance, and compliance standards for AI and cloud environments.
• Excellent command of English for daily communication in an international setting.
