AI Enablement Engineer

LocalStack is a fast-growing Series A startup revolutionizing cloud development by providing local sandboxes that simulate cloud environments. We are looking for an AI Enablement Engineer to join our globally distributed team and help us integrate AI-driven solutions across our internal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across Engineering, GTM, People, and Operations to remove friction through reliable AI automation.
• Build and deploy internal tools and agents that connect our tech stack to daily employee workflows.
• Drive adoption of AI solutions through workshops, pairing sessions, and active support.
• Partner with Security teams to establish guardrails, access scoping, and audit trails for data protection.
• Develop frameworks to track the value and impact of AI implementations using key metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience combining software engineering with business operations, product management, or consulting in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of driving cross-functional adoption of new workflows and demonstrating measurable impact.
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in agent-tooling patterns and LLM integration.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to map complex workflows, identify failure points, and build scalable solutions.
• Deep understanding of AI technology, including cost awareness, reliability, and evaluation patterns.
