Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain edge data pipelines that feed our AI quoting and calculation engines.
- Reverse-engineer industrial protocols to extract telemetry and operational data from shop-floor machinery.
- Parse complex 3D geometry using CAD/CAM APIs to automate manufacturing business processes.
- Prototype, test, and deploy creative software solutions that integrate with CNC controllers and industrial hardware.
- Collaborate on building scalable integrations between custom software and third-party manufacturing ecosystems.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with CAD/CAM environments and programmatic extraction of feature data.
- Hands-on IoT experience focused on extracting data from industrial shop floors.
- Deep knowledge of CNC controllers such as Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens and industrial protocols like OPC UA or MTConnect.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or C# for building scalable integrations and edge agents.
- Solid experience using Docker to containerize applications for reliable deployment on edge devices.
