AI Automation Engineer

STX Next is a global IT consulting company seeking an autonomous AI/ML Automation Engineer to bridge the gap between cutting-edge Generative AI and real-world business value. You will design and build robust automation pipelines, integrate custom solutions with enterprise environments, and champion technical architectures within a collaborative, innovation-driven team.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy production-grade AI workflows, agents, and automation pipelines using Python and the LangChain ecosystem.
• Maximize delivery speed by using advanced AI-assisted development tools to build, test, and iterate code at a high pace.
• Connect custom AI solutions with enterprise environments, specifically leveraging and extending the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for non-technical users to ensure smooth adoption of new AI tools and automations.
• Translate raw business ideas into technical architecture and defend technical choices with clear logic.

Requirements

• Deep experience writing clean, production-ready Python code.
• Experience building agentic workflows using the LangChain family or similar frameworks like LlamaIndex.
• Fluent in AI-first IDEs to prompt, debug, and write code alongside AI to deliver rapidly.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or Azure OpenAI integrations.
• Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to explain technical architectures clearly to peers.
