AI-augmented Software Developer

Sigma Software is seeking a highly skilled AI-augmented Software Developer to design, build, and optimize agentic AI systems. This role focuses on implementing autonomous agents, Model Context Protocol integrations, and complex orchestration layers to enhance development lifecycles for both new products and existing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Model Context Protocol integrations and agent orchestration layers.
• Build and maintain AI SDLC pipelines, tooling, and automation logic across the development lifecycle.
• Implement agentic AI patterns, multi-agent workflows, and intelligent task automation.
• Evaluate emerging agentic AI models, frameworks, and toolkits through POCs and prototypes.
• Collaborate with product teams and clients to define requirements and guide AI tool adoption.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years as a Software Engineer, including 1 year of extensive AI SDLC experience.
• Strong practical development experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks, autonomous agents, and multi-agent systems.
• Solid understanding of the AI model lifecycle, prompting, evaluation loops, and continuous improvement.
• Consulting experience or strong client-facing communication skills with an ability to explain complex technical concepts.
