AI Architect

Cambium Learning Group is seeking an experienced AI Architect to design and implement end-to-end architectures for Generative AI and machine learning solutions. In this role, you will translate enterprise AI strategy into production-ready systems, ensuring our EdTech products remain secure, scalable, and impactful for students and educators worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure AI architectures, including data ingestion, model training, and inference pipelines.
• Develop GenAI solutions utilizing RAG, vector search, prompt orchestration, and model evaluation frameworks.
• Build reusable code templates and patterns to streamline the deployment and monitoring of AI workloads.
• Architect federated data access patterns and optimize vector database schemas for high-performance retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions meet strict security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering and architecture roles at an enterprise scale.
• Hands-on expertise with LLM-based solutions, traditional ML models, and cloud AI services like Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex AI.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of MLOps/LMMOps practices, including CI/CD for ML, model registry, and monitoring.
• Experience with vector databases and data pipelines supporting AI, such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Spark.
