AI Agent Engineer

Ace Waves is a fast-growing, well-funded startup building an advanced AI agent platform that handles real customer conversations for leading consumer brands. As an AI Agent Engineer, you will join a forward-deployed team at the intersection of customer engineering and AI product management to build and manage multi-agent systems that operate at a global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve production-grade multi-agent AI systems for live customer support.
• Lead client workshops to map support processes and translate them into executable agent procedures.
• Implement and test integrations with major customer platforms like Zendesk, Intercom, Shopify, and internal CRMs.
• Monitor system performance, debug live environments, and ensure deployed agents remain reliable and safe.
• Collaborate with the GTM team to align technical delivery with business goals and share implementation insights.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Polish and strong written and spoken English.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking skills with the ability to find structure in complex systems.
• Experience building technical projects or digital products using code, no-code, AI, or other tooling.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical business customers.
• A self-directed mindset with strong ownership and a bias for action.
