Aerospace CAD Expert

micro1 is seeking skilled Aerospace CAD Experts to contribute to a high-fidelity project focused on complex, multi-part aerospace assemblies. In this role, you will leverage your deep domain knowledge in mechanical engineering and industrial design to help train next-generation AI systems, ensuring they learn from high-quality, real-world technical data.

Key responsibilities

• Author objective, multi-part technical questions regarding aerospace assemblies that require precise, non-guessable answers.
• Analyze native FreeCAD files to interpret complex mechanical assemblies and design intent.
• Develop comprehensive question sets that cover key features, functions, and relationships between individual parts.
• Provide clear, well-researched answers for each question based on the provided assembly data.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure technical accuracy and contribute to documentation processes.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or industrial design with a strong foundation in CAD principles.
• Hands-on experience working with multi-part CAD assemblies and interpreting complex technical drawings.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or similar CAD platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, objective technical content.
