AEO Specialist/Lead (AI / Answer Engine Optimization) - Contractor

We are currently seeking an AEO Specialist/Lead to own the execution layer of our AI and Answer Engine Optimization program, ensuring we maintain our position as the top brand across AI platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Thorne's AI visibility, share of voice, sentiment, and citation performance daily using analytics platforms.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and recurring reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Own and maintain the AEO roadmap, turning strategic recommendations into prioritized, resourced execution plans.
• Project-manage AEO initiatives across content, ecommerce, and PR channels, acting as a central point of coordination.
• Partner with product and development teams to scope and track technical tickets related to crawlability and structured data.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in a technical or analytical marketing role, such as SEO or growth marketing.
• Hands-on SEO experience with a strong understanding of how it overlaps and diverges from AEO and GEO.
• Proven ability to turn raw data from analytics platforms into clear narratives and prioritized action plans.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to rally cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and workflows, with a builder's instinct for automating repetitive tasks.
