Abilene Christian University is seeking a dedicated Adjunct Instructor for the Marriage and Family Therapy program. As an institution affiliated with the Church of Christ, we invite professing Christians who are committed to supporting our mission to join our remote faculty team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality instruction, direction, and support to students within an online classroom environment.
- Facilitate class discussions, grade assignments, and provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Collaborate with program faculty on curriculum development, implementation, and continuous program improvement.
- Conduct periodic synchronous interaction sessions and maintain regular communication with students regarding course material.
- Monitor student performance and report any academic or policy-related issues to the program director.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current State Licensed MFT and AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Supervisor Candidate status.
- Strong proficiency in APA style, online learning platforms, and standard office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative and self-motivated approach.
- Minimum of three years of post-doctoral teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
