Park University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to lead the CS375 Secure Operation course. This role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction in the principles, skills, and tools necessary for the secure operation of information technology systems, networks, and computers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive instruction on security concepts, cryptography, attack methods, and incident response.
- Facilitate hands-on security labs to provide students with practical experience in network defense.
- Monitor, evaluate, and provide feedback on student performance throughout the term.
- Ensure course content remains current and aligned with industry standards and the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate curriculum.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Mandatory possession of the Instructor Training Certification (ITC) for CCNA Cybersecurity Operations.
- Proven successful teaching experience at an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated professional experience or graduate coursework relevant to core cybersecurity learning outcomes.
- Ability to complete the required online Canvas LMS orientation and departmental training.
