Accountant / Auditor

micro1 is seeking experienced Accountant/Auditors to contribute to a specialized project focused on financial oversight and compliance. In this role, you will leverage your professional domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, ensuring they learn from high-quality, real-world financial data and reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Develop and validate complex financial models using advanced Excel functions.
• Assess and document audit procedures and internal control frameworks.
• Analyze tax compliance documentation to ensure alignment with relevant regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and contribute real-world scenarios to inform AI model development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting, auditing, or tax compliance.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and international financial reporting requirements.
• Expert proficiency with Excel, including financial modeling and advanced analytical functions.
• Proven track record in conducting audits and preparing professional audit documentation.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is highly valued.
