(803) Senior Python Backend Developer ( Part-time)

Altoros is a leading IT services provider currently seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer to join their team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing complex production-grade systems within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely triage and resolution of issues within agreed SLAs.
• Perform thorough root cause analysis and investigate backend bugs within the Django application.
• Tune infrastructure and system configurations to enhance overall reliability and stability.
• Optimize application and PostgreSQL database performance through query tuning, indexing, and caching strategies.
• Resolve dependency compatibility issues across both application and infrastructure layers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience in building and maintaining production-grade backend systems.
• Deep expertise in Django and Django REST Framework, including designing and scaling REST APIs.
• Strong command of PostgreSQL, including schema design, complex query optimization, and ORM best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Cloud Run and Cloud SQL.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
