emagine Polska is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join a global fintech organization dedicated to empowering small businesses with innovative payment solutions and financial tools. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and scaling critical data infrastructure within a dynamic, remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale the streaming infrastructure using technologies like Kafka, Spark, Flink, and Snowflake.
• Ensure reliability and security of the infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
• Contribute to the architecture and establish best practices for the Data Platform.
• Collaborate with data producers and consumers across the organization to create efficient data pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Solid experience in at least one programming language such as Java, Go, or Python.
• Strong expertise with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Significant cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
• Proven experience maintaining critical data infrastructure for a large user base.
• Direct experience with Kafka and data processing engines like Flink or Spark.
• Knowledge of observability stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, or Honeycomb.
