3 Data Engineering and Modelling Contract Opportunities / Remote

DCV Technologies is currently seeking experienced Data Engineering and Data Modelling professionals for three distinct contract opportunities. These roles focus on cloud data platforms, modern data infrastructure, and large-scale system modernization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Managing production data infrastructure, including upgrades, performance tuning, and reliability.
• Executing legacy-to-cloud data migrations and system integrations.
• Implementing data quality monitoring, validation controls, and analytical data modelling standards.
• Collaborating on target-state data architecture and CI/CD process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Engineering or Data Modelling, ideally within cloud environments like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala, alongside experience with tools such as dbt Core, Spark, and Airflow.
• Hands-on expertise with BigQuery and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of data quality concepts and enterprise-level modelling practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, contract-based environment.
