1099 Editorial/QC Specialist

We are currently expanding our network of professional consultants and seeking experienced Editorial/QC Specialists to support our award-winning team on a project basis.

Key responsibilities

• Review content for spelling, grammar, and usability, ensuring all digital assets meet high quality standards.
• Perform functional testing of digital assets and make minor edits to project deliverables, including storyboards.
• Collaborate with Lead Instructional Designers to maintain consistency across all project materials.
• Fact-check information and validate clinical references to ensure accuracy and adherence to client-specific style guides.
• Improve language usage and information flow through substantive editing of materials.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of professional experience as an editor or Quality Control Specialist.
• Degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Education, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience with Articulate 360 and the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with medical-legal-regulatory processes and AMA guidelines, with pharmaceutical or medical field experience highly preferred.
• Strong ability to balance speed with high-level accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
