👉 Lead Data Scientist

Xebia is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join our team and drive the development of advanced statistical models and spatial algorithms. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for building market analysis pipelines, integrating LLM-based services, and ensuring the production-readiness of our data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing statistical models for property price adjustments across time, location, and condition.
• Building spatial algorithms to capture local market dynamics and implementing comparable property recommendation systems.
• Developing market analysis pipelines with robust diagnostics, including trend fitting and outlier detection.
• Integrating LLM-based classification services for document and property analysis.
• Exposing model outputs through production API endpoints and collaborating with frontend engineers.

Requirements

• Solid statistics background with expertise in regression, GAMs, and robust estimation.
• Proficiency in Python and the data science stack, including NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Experience building and maintaining production APIs with FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Comfortable working with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to turn domain requirements into quantitative solutions and communicate technical trade-offs effectively.
