Senior Backend Developer (C# or Node.js)

Antal is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join a dynamic team focused on building modern IoT platform solutions and scalable backend services. This role involves developing robust API and middleware layers that support mobile, web, and internal systems within a distributed, cloud-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend applications and middleware components for scalable IoT solutions.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, WebSocket communication, and asynchronous integrations.
• Create and optimize data models using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Cooperate on cloud deployments, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure automation.
• Ensure high software quality through TDD, unit testing, and integration testing.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with either C#/.NET 6 or Node.js with TypeScript.
• Very good understanding of microservices architecture, REST standards, and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL solutions like MongoDB or Redis.
• Familiarity with cloud and containerized environments, including Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
