Quality Assurance Lead

.intent is an AI-native, fully remote company specializing in designing and co-creating connected devices, including wearables and health-tech hardware. We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to take ownership of quality assurance across our mobile and IoT projects, mentor our team, and shape our testing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for IoT and mobile products.
• Lead and mentor the QA team by guiding test design and facilitating knowledge-sharing.
• Introduce modern QA tools and practices, including test automation and CI/CD integration.
• Define and track quality metrics to continuously improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and clients to define acceptance criteria and coverage.

Requirements

• 6+ years in software testing, with a focus on mobile and IoT environments.
• 2+ years of experience leading a QA team with real ownership of processes.
• Strong proficiency in manual and automated testing using tools like Cypress, Appium, or Postman.
• Solid understanding of BLE, API testing, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Firebase.
• Excellent analytical skills and a leadership mindset focused on team growth.
• English proficiency at B2+ level for effective communication with US-based clients.
